Super Rugby Pacific Round 1

The Super Rugby Pacific is a series of tournaments of super rugby, held annually between teams from Australia, the Pacific Islands, and New Zealand. Sanzaar organizes it, an organizing body for rugby tournaments.

 

Round 1 of Super Rugby Pacific 2024 will begin with its first match between Crusaders and Chiefs on 23 February 2024 at FMG Stadium Waikato in Hamilton, New Zealand.

FMG Stadium Waikato, also known as Rugby League Park, is a stadium with a seating capacity of 25,800 people. 

 

Crusaders

Crusader is a professional rugby team in Christchurch, New Zealand. The Crusaders team was founded in 1996, and it is the most victorious and well-known team in Super Rugby, having 11 titles to its name, including the previous competition held in 2024.

 

Chiefs

The Chiefs is a professional rugby union team in Hamilton Waikato, New Zealand. It was founded in 1996 and is also known as Gallagher Chiefs due to sponsorship reasons. The Chiefs were previously known as Super 12 and Super 14.
